Engine Oil Change

Oil changes are recommended every 3 months or 5,000 kms
Keeping your engine oil clean is very important to long engine life. Engine oil is full of additives that break down over time. Changing the oil regularly keeps the engine clean and reduces wear to internal components. You will maintain performance, fuel economy, lower harmful emissions and improve cold weather starting.

Brake Service

Brake fluid flushes are recommended every 2 years or 50,000 kms
Over time brake fluid becomes oxidized from the high temperatures it is exposed to under normal operating conditions. There are corrosion inhibitors formulated into modern brake fluid that prevent the formation of rust in the brake hydraulic system. Brake fluid readily absorbs water, which causes corrosion and decreases its ability to dissipate heat.
Signs that you may need new brakes include:
* Brake pedal pulsation while brakes are applied
* Steering wheel shakes while brakes are applied
* Squealing or grinding from brakes
* Soft pedal or brakes that don't work as well as they used to.

Cooling System Service

Coolant system flushes are recommended every 2 years or 50,000 kms
The cooling system is often over looked but is crucial to proper engine operation. If it is neglected it can and will cause over heating and ultimately some very expensive repairs. Like other fluids, coolant has a corrosion inhibitor added to it. If this additive breaks down, internal engine components start to rust. Once this happens, rust can flake off and plug coolant passages which carry the coolant to the radiator. The color of the coolant and freezing/boiling point is not a good indicator of the additives. A regular maintenance schedule ensures long life of all cooling system components.
Signs that your cooling system requires service include:
* Engine temperature is too high
* No heat in the passenger compartment
* Green or orange puddles left by your vehicle

Automatic Transmission Service

Automatic transmission services are recommended every 2 years or 50,000 kms
Just like engine oil, transmission fluid is important to change regularly. With heat, the additives break down over time and components start to gum up. If not maintained, it can lead to any number of different failures in the transmission itself. New fluid helps prevent these costly repairs and extends the life of the transmission.
Signs that your transmission requires service include:
* Hard shifting
* Delayed engagement
* Slipping
* Chattering
